INITIAL INVESTIGATION

DISTRIBUTION ASSESSMENT

To kick things off, I conducted a comprehensive assessment of all web properties that exist for Concrete2Epoxy. There were several business profiles that existed for them on various domains including facebook.com, homeadvisor.com and thumbtack.com. None of these properties had been optimized.

Through this assessment, I decided that the best course of action would be to create a website and optimize business profiles on Google and Yelp.

THE WEBSITE

INITIAL CONCEPTS

Before creating the website I wanted to understand the types of visitors that would be coming to the site, what they are looking for and common activities that they would take.

I surveyed several friends and neighbors that were interested in concrete epoxy floors.

All respondents felt that the most important things for this website were the following:

  1. Contact Information
  2. Photos of Past Work
  3. Explanation of services
  4. Reviews

After gathering this information I started creating Lo-Fi wireframes

FINAL DESIGN

Once the client signed off on the Low-Fi Wireframes I began creating the designs in Adobe Illustrator. I also utilized photoshop to modify client images, add watermarks, and create gradients. The end result was the design shown below.
